The special exhibition "Daitoku-ji Temple - Unmatched Zen Garden of Our Era" will be held at the Tokyo National Museum. Daitoku-ji is a prominent Zen temple cherished by Emperor Go-Daigo and Warring States warriors. This exhibition features treasures that are typically not open to the public, allowing visitors to experience the history of Daitoku-ji.
The exhibition runs from October 14, 2026 (Wed) to December 6, 2026 (Sun). Notably, a number of Important Cultural Properties and National Treasures will be exhibited. There will be two display phases, allowing visitors to enjoy different works during each period.
