The "Hagi Festival" at Mukojima Hyakkaen is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the hagi flower, one of the seven autumn grasses. The garden features beautiful hagi tunnels and various blooming flowers, allowing you to savor the deepening autumn scenery. In addition to strolling through the garden, you can also enjoy making haiku and participating in tea ceremonies, so please feel free to stop by.

Among the special events, haiku submissions themed around hagi will be accepted daily throughout the festival, and there will also be a wild plant-watching event on September 19. Additionally, tea ceremonies will be held on October 3 and 4, providing a great chance to experience Japanese culture. October 1 is free admission day, so it’s a perfect opportunity to visit.
